    20 years full time police officer
    9 years as mounted patrol officer
    6 years as mounted police instructor

    After completing the Horse Mounted Training Academy of the United States
    Park Police in 1991, I was assigned to the Central Barn(H-1 stables).
    In my 7 years as a mounted patrol officer, I have patrolled downtown
    Washington DC and have been involved in numerous national events, celebrations
    and demonstrations that sometimes included hundreds of thousands of people.

    In 1998, I became a mounted police instructor and horse trainer at the Horse
    Mounted Training Academy, where I have focused most of my research and knowledge
    in mounted defensive tactics and in crowd managment. I look forward to serving
    the mounted law enforcement community as an instructorat Mounted Police Training Systems LLC.
